Happy New Year!!

I can not believe how fast 2009 has gone by. It has been a great year but I am looking forward to 2010 and what it has to offer for my family!! We had a fabulous Christmas, it was nice to spend Christmas Eve with my mommy, daddy, sister, and brother-in-law, I just love spending time with my family, and getting to know my new brother-in-law Rocky!! We had a blast doing our secret santa stockings (we choose a name out of a hat, go to Target and have 30 minutes to stuff the stocking)!! Jeni made a fabulous Katsu dinner (Japanese Curry) and had lots of fun laughing and playing Cranium, in which my awesome parents won (we were on couples teams). Christmas we just hung around the house, Matt trying to figure out how to use his new studio software, in which we then went a purchased everything he needs for his new in-home studio (watch out for special tracks ft. me, hahahah right.... if any of you have heard me sing you will beg me not to post them).

Below are a picture of the babies in their new sweaters for Christmas. They love each other soo much, and hate when they are separated. We really do have the best doggies ever!

Earlier in December we had my company Christmas party at Moon nightclub inside of the Palms casino here in Vegas. It was "Hollywood" themed, and lots and lots of fun. I thought I would post a picture of me and Matty on the "red carpet".

I hope everyone has a happy and safe New Year!!

Time flys...

Time flys.... when you are having fun!! I will say I am the worst blogger known to man kind. But I am working on it... I just have to find something blogworthy!! Its been a few months since I last blogged... when a little more than a few... Matt and I are almost going to be married 6 months!! and we are LOVING IT!! Our babies are both now over 1 years old (Keegs 1st bday pic is below), and I can sit there and spend my whole night watching them. They do the funniest things in the world... and have goofy personalities that are like little kids but they are DOGS!!!

The babies October 2009

Keegan was thrilled to be in her birthday dress (if fact she refuse to move until I took it off)

I can say we are proud to annouce.... Louie can finally climb the stairs (which is a huge accomplishment for the 1 1/2 years we have had him, I have had to carry him up and DOWN the stairs, as he was too scared to walk up or down them)!! We recently took a trip to Washington DC and my awesome sister in law was watching them. While we were away he decided it was time to learn. He now runs up and down them all the time, especially if I go up, and Keegan follows me. Now to get him to learn to jump on the couch and the bed.... haha, which will never happen since his legs are literally 2 inched long. He is soo cute!!

Other than the babies our life is kind of un-interesting. Matt has been keeping himself busy on 10 different business ideas he wants to do... you should check out his latest ideas... I.C.E. the main event (http://www.icethemainevent.com/), and GambleBall (http://www.gambleball.com/). I love when he comes and tells me his ideas... sometimes I wonder how the heck he thinks of them!

I also decided I want to learn to make cakes with fondant... which if any of you know me well, you know I CAN NOT COOK (although with the help of my sister in law, I am slowly learning). I decided I am going to try to make Matts bday cake this year... even though he is going to be the big 26, I am going to make a cake of his favorite football team Newcastle United!! Its pretty basic, but making the little emblem is going to be a little tough... who am I kidding making the entire cake is going to be a little tough!!! But I am excited to give it a try!

Recently we were lucky enought to take a long weekend in Washington DC. I was soo excited because I have wanted to go to DC since I was a younger girl. We had so much fun, we went to the Natural History muesum, American History muesum, and the Holocoust mueseum. I was sad we were not able to go to more, we ran out of time, but will definitely be going back soon to venture somemore. I was a little sad, it was 40 degrees and raining almost the whole time. Our last day we went to the Redskins and Chiefs NFL game (our first game and we go to the two worst teams in the league), we lucked out because it stopped raining for the game!! But still very cold, I thought I was going to turn into a ice cube! It was a blast though, Matt had won the tickets, and they were literally on the field (1st row). We were on the side of the Chiefs and were 5 - 10 feet from the players. It was a riot because the people next to us were of course Redskins fans and were heckling the players!! Matt decided if he is ever to go to another NFL game is must be 1st row!!

Our crazy babies

Life would not be the same with out Louie and Keegan, they are such characters. Everyday they do something goofy that Matt and I will just laugh about. While we were gone on our honeymoon, my awesome mom and dad took care of them. Here is my mom's comment "They made a bigger mess of my house than Lucas and Kyle (Kelli's 2 year old and 9 month old sons)."

In Feb. I had a tradeshow I went to, at one of the booths they were giving away these little toy beetle cars, that wind up. I decided I would see if the dogs would chase it, and this is what I got.

Keegan is one clever girl. Lately we have been letting the babies roam around the kitchen while we are away rather their crate. On our wedding night we got a call from our alarm company saying our alarm was going off, but all windows and doors are locked... you guess it the dogs set it off, because they escaped. The other day I come home and open the door and Keegan ran up to me while Louie was behind the gate, I couldn't figure out how she was out by Louie was not. We now know why.

Disney World

Matt had a tradeshow in March down in Orlando, FL. So I flew out on Friday afternoon and we took a long weekend at Disney World. It was both our first times, and we had quite a bit of fun. Below are a few pictures.

We are officially the WRATTENS!!

Matt and I have officially been married for 3 weeks!! The morning after our wedding (yes we had to wake up at 6:00 AM... grrr), we flew out to Maui, Hawaii for a week long honeymoon. It was ABSOLUTELY gorgeous, and I cant wait to go back next year. We had a blast, we took the road to Hana (aka Divorce Highway, it is said maried couples go there happily married and come back divorced... that being said I told Matt we are going to hire a tour guide company take us), it was sooo pretty, we stopped to speak with local people who make gorgeous pearl, coral, and shell necklaces. We ate fresh coconut and papaya, saw amazing waterfalls, and a black sand beach.

Wedding Planning

So lots has changed in me and Matthew's life since my last depressing post. We decided to push up the wedding... ummm a few months. In officially 25 days I will be Mrs. Wratten!! YAY I can not wait... and then a nice relaxing week long honeymoon in Hawaii will be a great finishing touch!! Things are good in the Wratten house... Louie and Keegan are happier than ever!!

My sister Kelli is in town visiting with her two little boys. Lucas is my little boy, he si soo darn cute (dont get me wrong Kyle is just as cute, me and Lucas just have a special connection, pirates). He absolutely loves Louie and keeps telling Kelli how he loves him and wants to bring him home (over my dead body), Keegan is not his favorite, as she has attempts and bits him when he comes near. Its great to see Matt with her 8 month old Kyle, I know he will be an AWESOME dad when our time comes again :).

I will try to post more later as the wedding comes up, I am just no good at this blogging thing.
