A little over a month ago Matthew and I were excited and suprised to find out we were pregnant again (some of you may know we lost our 1st at 12 weeks in Jan. 09)!! Although we were not trying we were excited and knew it was the right time and we were ready to start our family!! We had our first dr. visit on Thursday, we were 7 weeks and could not wait to see our little monsters first picture (sonogram). This time around I am feeling great, have some morning sickness and normal first trimester symptoms. I was talking with the nurse practioner saying I have a good feeling about this time around!! We go to do the sonogram and we see the sac but there is no baby in it. We found out I had a blighted ovum... It's were their is a malfunction and the egg never gets fertlized so no baby developes but your body thinks there is a fertlized egg and baby so it starts to develope the placenta and hormones. Yesterday I went in to have a D&C, cause there was no way in hell I was going to wait another month with morning sickness to wait for my body to miscarry cause it realizes there is no baby. So we are hoping a third times a charm once we decided to try again.
On a HAPPY note we added another member to the Wratten family, Bella. She is a precious and very crazy mini doxie. Keegan has finally met her match, but she is a perfect addition to Lous and Keegs. Pictures to come soon.
