Baby Wratten Update

Sunday morning around 6AM, I started experiencing pretty crazy cramps, but thought nothing of it because I was going into my 12th week and my uterus needs to start stretching for my baby to grow. About 30 minutes later, I thought I was peeing the bed, I jumped up and ran to the bathroom to see blood all over the floor. I screamed for Matt to come assist as I was bleeding horribly. I was going crazy, I am surprised Matt didnt slap me in the face to bring me back to reality. A few minutes later Matt found baby Wratten on the floor. By the looks of it, it lived to about 9 weeks and self terminated due to genetics and my body just rejected it at 11 1/2 weeks.

As you can guess, I had a miscarriage. It is very hard on me, but I am getting better as the week goes on. The worst part is that we saw our baby. The Dr. in the ER told me that 1 in 3 women actually have a miscarriage, and my OB told me that 1 in 5 women have a miscarriage. I read that after my 8th week that I have a 1% change of miscarrying my bundle of joy and never thought it would happen to me, but it did.

Everything happens for a reason, and I would rather it happen now then later, or have it grow a couple more weeks then have to deliver a stillborn.

We decided we are going to push the wedding up now, and actually get married in May or June. Have fun as a married couple for a couple of months, then try again and start our family!! I am excited to to get married finally become Mrs. Wratten and start our family!! More wedding details to come!!

Keegan loves to blog with mommy

My babies are soo cute, although I know once baby #3 comes along there is going to be lots of jealousy, and potenital biting (via our princess Keegan). I thought I would share a few pictures of Louie and Keegan tonight, Keegan always has to be next to me and crawling on me while I look through various blogs, and Louie loves to "sit pretty", he will sit straight up and look around or watch tv, he is so goofy!
On a brighter note, I felt my little baby for the 1st time on Monday night at 1:00 AM, it is soo exciting knowing that my body is helping to create such a precious little package. I can not wait for my next ultra sound in 2 weeks... I know I need to still scan our other ones, right now its name is Chicken Nugget because that is what it looks like, haha...

2008 in a Nutshell

So I still have pretty bad morning sickness... but I am hoping in about a month it will start going way cause I dont know if I can handle it anymore... haha.

So I thought I would post some pictures of the family in 2008, since I finally downloaded all my pictures from my camera, I lost my sony duo stick adapter thing so I wasnt able to download them through out the whole year, thankfully my friend had one while she was over here the other day so I finally uploaded them :)!!

We got engaged!

I went to New York for the first time...ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT, cant wait to go back with Matt one day (after the baby of course)

So it has taken me over an hour to figure this stupid program out o upload pictures so more pictures are to come another night, it is 9:30 and past my bed time!! Baby need some sleep!
